Anderson .Paak made an amazing tape. Venice is his second release of the year (following January’s “Cover Art“) and is easily one of my favorite mixtapes this year . The artist formerly known as Breezy Lovejoy really shines on this project and showcases his versatility.

I did not know what to expect because this was the first I have heard of Anderson. I had been meaning to listen to Venice for almost two weeks now, and I just now got the opportunity to. And boy am I glad I did! The tape starts off slow with Waves, but every single song is better than the next. I thought track 3 was my favorite until I heard track 4 and then I heard track 5 and I was like whoa this is my shit! And that continued throughout me listening to Venice. I shouldn’t have to keep convincing you, you trust me by now right? Do YOURSELF a favor and listen to this fly shit.
