That’s how I discovered “It G Ma!” (which translates to “Never Forget!”) , in 2014, a trap song from Japanese rappers Keith Ape and Kohh. While the song had only 2 English words, “Underwater Squad!” it went hard as hell. The song gained popularity, racking in millions of views, and now it has been remixed with American rappers; future president Waka Flocka, A$AP Ferg, Father and Koreatown’s rap-battle prodigy, Dumbfoundead. While the combination of rappers sounds unlikely, their individual styles collide perfectly.
