Jay Rock took to Power 106 and Twitter a couple of days ago with a simple tweet to announce the release date for 90059: “9-11 #90059”. If you remember, the TDE artist had announced that he would drop his album next year, unless pre-orders of this album started piling up, then he would keep moving up the release date according to how many pre-orders he got. I guess that strategy served them well and I’m guessing a lot of pre-orders came in, because he has now pushed this album to come out this Friday, September 11.
