SURPRISE! Kendrick Lamar has dropped a new album titled ‘Untitled Unmastered‘ with nearly no warning at all! The eight track project is a mix of never before heard tracks and some tracks he’s performed during shows such as “The Colbert Show”,” NBC’s Late Show”, “The Tonight Show” and his recent show-stoppping performance during The Grammys.

‘Untitled Unmastered‘ was teased by Top Dawg earlier in the week via his Instagram, and I think it’s safe to say everyone was expecting a project by anyone except Kendrick Lamar.

As you can imagine from the material you may have already heard, it is in the same vein as ‘To Pimp A Butterfly‘ (which just won the Grammy for Best Rap album) with the live instrumentation, groovy vibes, and powerful message.

From my rough first listen I can tell you that tracks’ 7 and 8 are incredible. Also, I’m quite certain I’ve heard, Terrace Martin’s Saxaphone, Ceelo Green and a verse from Jay Rock featured on the album.
