Lance Skiiiwalker, the newest TDE signee by way of Chicago, has dropped his newest single titled “Speed“. After some cryptic tweets from every member of TDE a couple weeks ago, apparently it was all because Lance had just been signed to Top Dawg. I guess he was able to get him on the phone. Anyway, the reception of this newest single has been mixed. Fans calling it “trash” to most critics praising it. Personally, I really like this song. Most complain about the beat in the first half, but I think it’s all messed up and crazy because it shows a bit of the effects that speed has on someone’s body. However you feel about the beginning though, the second half of this song at about the 1:10 mark takes it to another level, and Lance shows us how well he can sing on this lo-fi hip hop beat.
